What phono to phono leads and speaker cable do you recommend ?

My Hi-Fi is all Technics seperates and i`m wanting to upgrade the speaker cable and the phono to phono leads!

What do you recommend in a middle of the range budget, i know you can spend hundreds on these things but i was wanting some good speaker cable between £3-£5 per metre or there abouts.

Also im after upgrading all the phono to phono leads and the same question again in what do you recommend! I would pay up to around £20-£30 per pair!


Any links or brand and model nums would be appreciated!

VDH The Bay C5 phonos and QED Silver Anniversary speaker cables are as good as I've personally found at any price, and just about fall within your budget.

Thanx for them recomendations Paul, i`ll do a search on the net and have a good read up on them! Its a minefield out there in looking for things like these as their are so many different makes and you just don`t know whats what or what is best!

A good dealer will loan you some to see if you can hear a difference, some people say yes others say it's all a money making scam.

Personally I think it's worth spending a few quid for peace of mind.
