Green tea

Anyone recommend green tea and good places to buy?

Love a cup of Tetley but need to pack it in due to the fact I drink too much ! Also I'm trying to cut out sugar and don't like the taste of normal tea without it.

Tetley do one with blueberry extract that I like a lot. Green tea can be a little bitter, so the sweetness of the blueberry is nice. They sell it in supermarkets.

Lord Nelson's Green tea with vanilla is nice from Lidl's.

Can I recommend Rooibos, naturally caffeine free and available in green from specialists. eg: http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-..._campaign=feed

From the high street, Dragonfly Rooibos Earl Grey Tea from Sainsburys is nice.

Twining's do a 10 teabag selection pack for around £1.50 with various flavours. It gives someone an idea what they are like before buying a 20 pack box.

My favourites are cranberry and orange with Lotus flower,

- Pure Green Tea
- Green Tea with Cranberry
- Green Tea with Apple & Pear
- Green Tea with Pineapple & Grapefruit
- Green Tea with Orange & Lotus Flower
- Green Tea with Citrus

Anyone had Green Coffee ? I bought the Nescafe Green Blend one and not sure what to make of it. I prefer it without milk.

GREEN BLEND - Products - NESCAFÉ UK

No mention anywhere if it has caffeine or not but I assume it does. I got it from Asda for £2.50 which is more than I would pay for coffee.

Prefer mint tea. Green tea straight is too bitter, flavoured is OK

I quite like Lipton Green Tea with Mint. You dont seem to be able to get it from here though. I have it shipped over whenever a relative comes back from Pakistan.

Basically this stuff but Mint, although the Lemon stuff isn't too bad.

Green coffee? I'll have to look into that. I've been drinking green tea for years. I drink it plain without sugar. I feel it's better than drinking coffee all day, which is what I use to do. I feel it gives me more energy and alertness, and I believe it even relieves pms symptoms. never heard that from anyone else though so maybe it's just me. I love the stuff and it's pretty cheap too.

My favourite green tea is the FairTrade stuff - much less bitter than Twinings or any other brand I have tried. I actually prefer it to regular tea now.
