And this mornings leg workout will be taking place in the Sniff Garden Gym

For anyone who is interested I'm taking part in the Tom Venuto Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle Summer challenge. Its open to owners of the BFFM ebook and members of the BFFM Inner Circle forum. I have a cheap try-out membership so am using that.
There are a number of different categories but you need to be following BFFM guidelines/workout etc. Top 2 prizes are an all expenses paid trip to Maui, Hawaii

Dont think i have a hope of winning as I've lost most of my fat now but there are categories for muscle gain/getting ripped etc. So going to see what i can do. Its free to members anyway and I'm hoping it will give me some extra push as I have to log stats/routines\weight etc at least weekly

Haven't mentioned it you guys as theres at least a few $$ outlay to be able to register if you dont have the ebook/membership. Having said that its a great site with tons of resources and Tom Venuto posts regularly on the forum. Even answered a few of my questions

Have to register and take photos with date proof (newspaper masthead) on Weds 30th so wish me luck

Tom Venuto Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle Fat Loss Support Community, Fat Burning Support

Managed a 25 miler on the bike on top an hours upper body yesterday so getting in the groove

PS. if anyone did want to join in you can form teams as well so would love to have u on board

Got out on the bike this morning, fantastic. It was quite warm at 8.15 and just got better. A neighbor recommended a nice route, and there was a perfect little cafe with some toilets at 10 miles. The question is, is this considered a hilly route?

Lovely mate. Great weather for biking at the moment isnt it

Wish I had places like that around me - most of mine is canals to get the scenery. My dream place for cycling is Dartmoor

And its fun on the way back down

I would love to have a bike again but the roads near me are just too dangerous due to speed. I haven't had a bike since I was about 15. I had a real nice BMX.

That's true. Also, cycling isn't very taxing, so at least hills give you a bit of a workout.

I couldn't live with canal paths, full of dog walkers and people walking 6 a breast. I like to go fast on the bike

The roads i've been on today are mainly NSL. You get the occasional idiot who passes too close, but on the whole it's fine.

Then again, i'm not really bothered about how dangerous it is.

Some people get really wound up by people cycling on the roads.

So what they might hold you up for 15 seconds!? big deal!

Love seeing people out and about doing sport. much better than sitting at home!

me too, the farther I go out the less walkers so it can get good. Plus its harder work than tarmac so ban be a better workout

I have about 6 hills on the way to work so they become my HIIT workouts. Power up as fast as possible, ease down and power the next

Need some squatting motivation?

Do you work out and do you need motivation VI-image-1996867475.jpg

285kg@101kg....impressive.

We've been to the Hercules show today, a small local show with BB'ing, powerlifting and marital arts competitions. Finished the day off with a visit to Maldon for an walk by the water with an ice cream and slush puppy.

We've both been a bit lacing recently with little motivation, it's hard when there's no competition to aim for so admire you guys who stick with it

I think the show today had gee'd us up a little

Not acting like a dork is the way to remain on the forums. Great re-start.

Of course it will be

Subject A & Subject B who both have similar genetics, same diet & training.

Subject A is natural, Subject B is not ... of course Subject B will gain quicker BUT it's not a path everyone wants to take and it's not a path that should be pushed IMO

For someone to decide to take this path, they have to do a LOT of research and be sure they are taking their health into account... because otherwise you could really **** up your health.

So no cardio, juicing... are you going to offer another golden nugget ?

Come on mate, this has always been a really great part of the forum. Everyone has gotten on just fine and it's one place you can really start to relax without watching what you have to say all the time. If you've got some positive information to share then fire away, we can all discuss it like adults in here without getting nit picky as long as it is done in a friendly way AND backed up with a bit of information, not just a "do this, do that...don't question it" style.

Hopefully we can all play ball together with a clean start, but you need to play ball just like everybody else

^^^ What Desmo said.

Its all pretty friendly in here mate and we are all willing to give anyone a chance. As I've tried to say to you before, there are ways of getting your point across that will ensure people will listen to your opinion

Yeah Desmo, I agree with you 100%. I personally don't juice or use anything but if I'm honest I'm considering it as my gains are now minimal. Obviously as Sinead said, the correct research and medical advice is needed, but I wouldn't advise using steds in high dosage or anything past dbol. HGH can be prescribed by doctors though.

Personally I'd hold off a few more years yet. Start steds too early and you can close off your growth plates in your bones which could have a big effect on your size and shape in years to come. As Sinead pointed out, ask for some advice on MT, the guys there will talk straight with you, they've seen it and done it all before and have made mistakes in the past that everyone can learn from

Your gains are bound to slow down over time, have you changed your routine about much?

Yeah I change it up every 8weeks. I'd put it more down to my diet right now though as in the exam period, and slacking with summer around the corner, but I mean If i did get on anything, It wouldn't be the heavy stuff, mainly oral dbol. But It's something to look at in the future I guess.

As an older guy with less and less test floating around I guess there could be temptation to go that route. However I'd be pretty scared of the side effects. I also hate the idea of self injection- I know pro hormones can be pretty harsh if you go the oral path

Ah thanks for the warning, injecting is something I'd not even consider. I know it's more effective and longer lasting, but just don't like the idea of it. Just wondering why's the oral path harsh? Thought it was the safer route.

Orals put a lot of strain on your kidneys.
