After a long and horrible process in which I have spent money on unwanted headphones (sharkoon xtatic - imo really bad) and time looking for a new pair (for console gaming), I decided on the HD 555, a great pair of headphones that I am really happy with.

However, it seems that my TV's heaphone jack is AWFUL. I get a constant humming sound AND and sounds below a certain frequency cause the headphones to make a buzz and sound really bad.

So angry after investing in headphones only to have the TV let them down (they sound fine through any other device)

I even looked on the back of my tv for another audio output and found rca output, bought an adapter, but now I cant change the volume.

Is there any way to resolve these problems without having to spend money on an Amp that is more expencive than the headphones themselves (limited budget) Thanks in advance.

Please help.

I don't really what to have to puchase ANOTHER set of headphones, probably turtle beach x1's that connect straight to the xbox, and then be dissapointed with the sound quality compared with the HD 555's.
