I recently bought a LG TV and it has no earphone socket. I want to play my xbox360 through the tv but would prefer to have an earphone option. Is there an adapter I can buy ?

If the cable you are using from the Xbox has phono audio out (red and white RCA plugs), just to what I do and plug them into a headphone amplifier.

Even the FiiO E5 amp would be more than adequate, will allow you to use pretty much any headphones with the TV. Will cost you about £20. Only issue with an amp like the E5 is that it only has a 3.5mm input, so you'd need a phono to 3.5mm male jack adapter, you can get gold plated ones on eBay for a couple of quid including postage.
