Denon AHD1001

I currently have 2 full size headphones - sennheiser HD555 & HD25SP. My main use for headphones is for listening to music but I don't think either of these does full justice to my main choice of music (drum & bass/house/techno). The HD555's have plenty of detail & soundstage but are lacking in the bass department, whilst the HD25SP have plenty of bass but I find the otherwise flat response makes them quite boring to listen to.

This has led me to the Denon AHD1001, which seems to get good reviews. Does anyone use these or the cheaper Creative Aurvana Live version. If so your opinions would be helpful as I really want to get things right this time. Pricewise these seem ok - I can get the denons for £90 delivered which fits in with my budget of £100 max.
