I'm looking for Advice on Etymotic ER-6i's for an iPod Touch 2G. I have read many reviews and like the what I read about the ER-6i's however I am concerned about the 5' cable length and also how hard wearing this thin cable will be - it seems quite impractical for use with an Ipod. Has anyone got good insight into this cable or can you recommend a similar quality set of IEM's with a more practical cable?
I'm currently using a set of Ultimate Ears Metro.fi but can get the Etymotic's for £65 delivered.

Have a look at Shure SE210's they are about the same price.
