HD 25-SP prices

I bought the Sennheiser HD 25 SP for £60 from Tottenham Ct Road/London about 3 years ago. online price was about £75 back then, now it seems to be £99.
whats that all about?
I though we were meant to be in some kind of recession/deflation cycle, and I could be picking up some bargains?
Is this because of the £/€ exchange rate?
(In Dublin at the moment and everything is real expensive after getting parity at the airport)

I also see the lead online for £26. What's that all about?

No - nothing to do with it.

Last year there were about 1.45 €uros to the £ - it went down to almost 1 to 1 (it's about 1.1 today).

So most products should have gone *up* in price by about 30% just to cover the increase in cost because of the exchange rate.

The HD 25SP retails at £129 - so I think £99 is a pretty good price.
