Help with buying headphones please?

Hey,
I bought a pair of Creative EP-630 headphones about 2 years ago from amazon.co.uk and they were brilliant:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Lab.../dp/B0009G6FQI

However, I somehow managed to lose them, so went on eBay and bought some more:

When they came through the post, the first thing I notice is that they are in a little silver plastic bag, instead of a box like my first ones came in. So I open the packet and discover that the new headphones (although exactly the same model number as my old ones) are the 'around the neck' design. The chord for the right earphone is longer than the chord for the left earphone, as it is meant to be worn around your neck. I can't stand this! On my old pair of headphones (which I lost) the length of the chord was the same for each earphone, which is what I want.

Another thing I noticed which is annoying, is that the entire length of the chord is a lot shorter than on my old ones. To make up for this, a clumsy extender cable is included in the silver bag, but I don't want this.

I really want my old headphones back. My problem is that I don't know whether my new ones are different because of the fact that I bought them from eBay and they came in this silver bag, or because they are just made this way now??

Does anyone know if I buy them from amazon.co.uk again they will be boxed and exactly the same as my original pair? I don't want to buy them just incase I get another pair with different length chords for each ear phone. Can anyone who has recently bought them from amazon.co.uk (or anywhere else) clear this up for me please?

If all of them are now made in this 'around the neck' way, please can someone suggest a good pair of earphones for me? They must be:

1. In ear (with changable different sized heads)
2. Both chords the same length for each earphone
3. Longer than about 1.5m in length

Many thanks in advance
