Hello,

I am just on the verge of buying some AKG K601's. I am looking for some open back headphones for £150. I thought it was sensible to post here first.

The reason I am thinking about the K601's is because of their comfort. The ear pads go over your entire ear (circumaural) and I havnt seen any other phones that do that and also in my price range.

Am I making a bad descision? I have heard the sennheisers of the same level (HD595's) have a hyped up bass response, and are not as good. Grado headphones in this catagory are not circumaural that i have seen.
