Anything like CX300 / CX95 but no cable noise?

Lads / Ladies,

My CX300's have been a bit busted for a while now (one side is much quieter than the other) - it's time to replace.

I've done a fair bit of reading and it looks like the cx95's are right up my street - one big gripe: Microphonic noise from the cable

That was the one thing that really p*ssed me off about the cx300's is all the banging / scraping / general noise from the cable brushing against me / things anytime I moved / walked etc, I've seen a couple of negative reviews saying that the cx95's are no different..... is this true?

If so, are there any other recommendations??

Thanks all

P.S. this may be asking a bit much, but if there was something like this that also had a mic / controls for iPhone (3G) usage, that would RAWK. (has to have the same bass response / sound quality as 95's or similar though...

Wrap them round the top of your ears or get a clip and fasten to inside of your shirt.

Ok well thanks for the help you two... r@mside, I'm not sure if you've had the CX300's but they make a helluva lot of noise and no matter where the cable is fastened, it will still make noise.

After a fair amount of reading, I've just pulled the trigger on:

Ultimate Ears Metro.Fi 150 Earphones

I'll let ya (and any other readers / subscribers) know how they are...

Re: Anything like CX300 / CX95 but no cable noise?

Ive got the cx500's and have noticed cable noise too from banging around. I thought this was just because they were in ear headphones though and so you can hear the sound of the banging because no sound is escaping the ear. I may be wrong though.
