DT770 vs DT770 Pro

Is there much difference other than the outwardly obvious aesthetic variations?

Also, how well do these perform with an ipod 5G in terms of quality and volume?

I couldn't tell you the difference but have you got links to both? I own the DT770 Pro 80Ohm and with a Fiio E5 amp coming from my nano 4g the sound is good. Even without the amp they have a decent sound; much better than my IEMs but they are a £20 sony pair lol.
