Anyone own / listened to AKG K450 ?

I have seen very little of these on the internet other than on the AKG site and a couple of retailers.

Anyone tried them out ? They look pretty tasty and What Hifi gave their little brother, the K430, a 4 star review in this month's mag....

Any thoughts ?

well my cousin had the previous model to this one,and he said they were amazing,very good sound quality and bass,not too much bass so that you cant hear anything.im gonna take a guess and say theres been more improvements,so i would recommend it.im also looking for these headphones,but the price isnt right.do you know anyone or any places that are selling it for a decent price?

Hi Ali,
I have bought the AKG K450 (45 EUR). I can say that the sound is good but I have expected more. I think that the midrange needs more transparency and the sound has to be more opened. There is a lot of details and the bass is fine.This is only my opinion and my suggestion is befor buying to try several headphones with the same music and get the one which sounds best for you.
