Headphone trouble

I have a 47inch LCD RCA TV. I want to use two sets of headphones with it. The problem is that using a splitter from Radio Shak causes the signal to split, one set of headphones gets the R stereo channel ad the other the left, as well as cutting the volume in half. How can I address this problem????
Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Headphone trouble

Instead of posting your thread in the forum intended for people to give feedback about the forums, you would get a much better chance of a response if you posted in the headphones forum. I have moved your thread for you.
