Motorcycle Intercom Headphone Connection Problem

Hi, not sure if anyone can help out with this problem. Ive bought a Motopro set of bike to bike intercoms (basically like walkie talkies with a set of controller wires that are connected via Mini Din 4 and 6 pin connectors.

The problem is my Nolan N103 helmet already has a headphones and mic already installed and hardwired into the helmet with a jack plug on the base of the helmet, so rather than use the provided headset Id like to use the built in one on the Nolan Helmet.

My question is, would it be possible to make my own wire that goes from a male mini din 4 pin (connecting to the intercom) that goes to a audio jack plug at the other end and plugs into my helmet.

I have bought a mini din 4 pin connector, 4 core wire and a 4 pole audio jack from maplins, but of course I have no idea which wires need to connect to which.

Also would the 4 pole audio jack plug support both earphones and mic at the same time?

Many thanks if anyone can advise me on this.
