Motorola S9-HD bluetooth headset

I don't suppose anybody knows where I can buy the new Motorola S9-HD headset (not the original S9).

It looks like they have been released already by Motorola. I can't find anybody in UK that sell them but I can't find anybody who will ship to UK either.

I was just wondering if anybody had any good sites they use that might stock them, preferably in black.

Thanks.

I'm looking for them too as I've lost my s9, and the only place I found in the uk which lists them as coming soon is here: Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth Active Headphones **NEW** (Moto-S9-HD) £0.00

I couldn't register though!

Let us know if you find them somewhere else...

Re: Motorola S9-HD bluetooth headset

I registered with that site a couple of weeks ago but not had any e-mail from them yet.

How are the S9 ones you have now? This is my first fray in to the world of bluetooth headphones.

My S9 were great. Light, water resistant, fantastic for driving, cycling, running, listening to music with my phone (I have a Touch Pro, so I could get phone calls, music and GPS direction from the same headset). Good battery life, okay sound.

Phone calls are mono (only left ear). Controls can take a bit of time to get used to, but work well. I lost one of the earbuds, and then I lot the set...

One little flaw: could'nt charge them with a standard USB cable, I had to use their own chager, which defeats the point, I hope the HD won't have the problem.

They didn't have the best background noise cancellation (ie to help the person you're talking to to hear your voice when in a crowded place), so I hope this is better in the newmodel.

I expect the sound quality on the HD to be better with music (which lacked bass on the S9) and also to provide better background sound isolation (less background noise when you listen to music).

I really liked the S9, and although I have a smaller (one hear) headset when needed, it's a great sorts/tube/train headset.

Hope this helps!

Re: Motorola S9-HD bluetooth headset

Well it looks like one site is now selling them:

Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth Stereo Headset from Overstock.com

But I have never heard of this company and also it says:

PLEASE NOTE: This item has been built to U.S. electronics specifications and may need additional modifications or converters to be used in countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

I am worried that they may be 110V only and won't work on 240V. Motorola web site does not seem to say they are compatible with 240V.

Also, come to think of it isn't it illegal to sell electrical items in UK without a fitted UK plug?

Any thoughts anyone?
