I just purchased the Voyager (Graham Slee) portable headphone amplifier. Very happy with it using the Senn 555?

Wanted to upgrade to either Senn 600 or 650 to use with the amplifier.

Anybody have any experience with this combination?

I had the voyager and used among other Hp's the HD650 with it and thought they were a really nice combination. Your HD555 are a bit easier to drive as they are either 50 or 120ohms depending on how old they are, compared to the 650's mighty 300ohms

The only issue i had was the amp needed to be cranked up to the 3 0'clock position to have them at good listening level, and no i'm not deaf

Just wanted to clarify if u were using the Voyager 'portable amp' with the 650s? U think it is a good combination?
