Headphones and hearing aids

Hi, im looking to get some headphones for TV and XBOX360 use for when the household has gone to bed. I know in normal situations you get what you pay for but i wonder whether its throwing money away spending big on headphones when wearing a hearing aid.
Basically my budget would be up to £100, been looking at reviews for either wired or wireless senheisser at the top end of my budget(purely thorough a DJing mate recommending the brand and me confirming they work on the telecoil setting)
Is there anybody who has experience (or knows someone)in trying cheaper makes/models on the telecoil setting and the more expensive phones, is there any difference?
Do all brands work with telecoil? Any feedback issues with wired/wireless?
Thanks for reading and any tips welcome.

Re: Headphones and hearing aids

The Sennheiser HD555 are pretty nice (around £55) and if you plan on using them with your 360 it might be worth reading about Dolby Headphone and in particular the Victor (JVC) SU-DH1 headphone amp.

You will probably get decent advice for the hearing impairment query on the head-fi forums.
