I got given a pair of these rather excellent headphones, but soon after starting to use them i encountered several problems:

Firstly, I got them plugged into my PC via coaxil connection, but then when i began to play games, the sound sounded sharp, high and slightly sharp, i patched my audio drivers and they appear to have improved. so this is just open for any other suggestions.

Secondly and the real problem is how to connect to my Xbox360, it seems easy enoguh from the manual but it just doesnt seem to be working, I have the HD-AV connector, with the HD av connection, i thought this wouldn't be a problem as it has a optical out on it. Then when i did a little searching i heard that i need an Advanced AV pack, i thought it wrong and just tried to connect ir up. The sound is only coming out of my tv (it is connected via normal sound av that cam with the connector) But not coming out of my headphones, so I tried to see if everything was right and it was. Still no luck.

Can someone instruct me on how to connect them up, and also some advice on both problems would be great.
