Unhappy Lost my Shure SE530s

I carelessly left my beloved Shure SE530s on a train last night.

I have had them for almost a year, and had started to really enjoy them after an initial frustrating period finding the right tips/fit.

It looks as though I am going to have to buy a new pair, but has anyone found anything better? I was looking at the top of the range Denon (751?) that are £180 in thr Apple Store, but notice the online price is more like £80, so I guess they are not real competitors.

Anyone have any other suggestions, or are the 530s still the best?

You are probably right!

I guess it is just that it would not hurt do much shelling out all of that cash for something slightly different.

I think I will order them today.

How much? Always been curious to compare to my Westone UM2 (though I am getting around to ordering new full sized cans)

Yes I know we only have one pair of ears

you also only have one pair of feet, one pair of legs, etc..... reason always finds a way for you to spend more cash... blot it out of your mind before it's too late....

SE530's are around £220 but Play were doing them at £200 when I got mine a month or so back.

Yes, we only have one pair of ears but I'm eagerly awaiting reviews of the new Apple dual driver remote ones due out (£55) as they could be ideal if good SQ when out & about.
