Earphone for my new Ipod

I have just bought a Ipod classic for my holiday to the states and I was wondering if anyone could recommend me some nice earphones to compliment it?

I don't want to spend too much, maybe £20-30. I'm quite a fan of bass but like most I don't like it too overpowering.

Thanks for any help

I'd say some Sennhieser CX300's would be good! only £17.99 from play.com. Awesome earphones too! Good bass levels etc. Fit in ear nicely too.

Re: Earphone for my new Ipod

I'll third the CX300s...

though, I broke mine (my fault, car door incident!) - looking at investing a bit more now, is there a limit on what it's worth investing in if a headphone amp is out of the question? Just to be used in an ipod... I looked at the Shure ones and was amazed there're £500 headphones around!

I'm open to in-ear and old style suggestions, so long as I can walk to work with them without them falling off!

Think the Creative EP630's are pretty much the same. Also very good an cost about the same (30 Euro's in Holland).

Why are you on your 4th pair? I had some and they broke within a few months and the bass is bloated. When you go for your 5th pair try the senn's (you may like them) or some Shures, Ultimate ears, etc. Note the Senn's are of an equivalent price.
