Best in-ear headphones - up to £50?

Hi All,

Just got an iPod Touch for my birthday and I was wondering if any of you chaps could recommend me a good pair of in-ear headphones to get the best out of it- got about £50 to spend but would be willing to go a 'little' bit higher....maybe.

Thanks in advance

Do you want outside sound to be isolated or do you want to hear whats going on around you? Do you want to buy from a store or are you wiling to buy from ebay or even 2nd user (with new ear buds of course).

Re: Best in-ear headphones - up to £50?

I've got a pair of Shure SE210 and they are brilliant for travelling in noisy environments.
These are sound isolating and I have tested them in planes, train, underground and I am really pleased with them.

Play sells them for £65 which I understand is a little bit above your budget, but they are worth it!

Hope this helps.

Re: Best in-ear headphones - up to £50?

I hope this is allowed, I have a pair of the above earphones for sale in the classifieds Non-AV section would happily let go for £50 (barely used) if you are interested feel free to let me know. Many thanks. The Shure SE210's are a great pair of earphones with incredible sound, great bass/treble response.

If you aren't interested in the above the SennHieser CX500 are a good choice too, and the CX300 too.

You can get Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 3 Studios for bang on £50. Though I'd spend the extra £15 or so on some Comply Foam tips.

Re: Best in-ear headphones - up to £50?

Any of the above will be 'way' better than the iPod supplied buds ......

One thing just enjoy the music and do not wander what better sound may be out there or you'll be back ......

Creative EP-630, almost identical to Sennheiser CX300 for much less.

I'd go for CX300s, they're fantastic. Build quality seems awesome to me too.
