Ultimate Ears Super.Fi - Universal Fit Earphones - 5 Pro

Hi,

Are these earphones available to buy in shop anywhere around the West End? Tottenham Court Rd, possibly? I work Great Portland St, just off Oxford St. Someone told me that the Apple shop on Regents St have them - is this correct? I'm guessing in-store these are not priced up as low as the prices you can find for them online?

cheers

How long does deliver take from the US to the UK?

PC World and the Apple shop are selling these earphones for £179 and £189. Gulp.

Yeah, Apple Store sell above RRP, as far as I can tell.

Get them from the net, worth the wait, you'll save a huge amount of money.

It is not wise to buy electronics from shops, unless you have over 30% to pay extra just beacuse its a shop. i got my super fi 5 pro for £60, happy as can be!

Whilst I couldn't agree more regarding the price of these, one major advantage the Apple shop has over all internet and most retailers is their 14 day return policy, in that you can take something back for any reason you like including not liking the sound of earphones and they refund no questions asked!
Bought 2 different sets of earphones last year on holiday in the states, taking advantage of pound/dollar exchange, tried them out over the holiday, and took them both back, one to uncomfortable the other sound just not good enough to justify the cost, there were no qualms taking them back. The same policy applies in the UK.
Bet you couldn't take back phones like that to any other retailer! I have found it a very expensive experiment when buying something that is as personal a earphones without being able to try before you buy, they can be a lot of money down the drain if you don't like them.

Can someone clarify something for me.

These earphones, the cord - are there two versions, one thicker than the other?

I think my 5 Pro's have the original 'thin' cable cord rather than the bulky version of it.

I really hope they dont die an early death, regardless of UE having fantastic support.
