Using e2c's foam tips with Super fi 5 pro

I'm using e2c's tips, with my super fi 5 pro, as the super fi pro foam tips aren't the best, the fell apart, the glue which held the foam to the plastic centre wasn't too strong enough. So I'm wondering am I foolising using the e2c tips with the super fi 5 pro? can it damage them? Also how doe the comply tips compare with the normal foam tips, I'm using them now, and the seal is fine i think, is it worh spending £12.5 on 5 pairs of comply tips or would i be wasting money? As these tips only last about 1-2 weeks.

or i can get 10 pairs of normal foam tips for £15 approx. what do you guys think?
