Whats IEM's are best for my new ipod touch?

Got a new ipod touch and want a decent pair of headphones to improve the Ipod's sound quality.

I have narrowed it down to these :

Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Ear...621883&sr=8-10

Ulltimate Ears Super fi 4
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ulltimate-Ea...0621981&sr=8-1

V-Moda Vibe Headphones
http://www.amazon.co.uk/V-Moda-Vibe-...0622014&sr=1-4

Really looking for extra bass for the ipod aswell as sound clarity. Which is best out of the lot?

TIA

Re: Whats IEM's are best for my new ipod touch?

Unfortunately your links don't work, but I would say that the Ultimate Ears 2 would not be a significantly worthwhile step up in the long run, the Ultimate Ears 4 are designed for the iPhone, with an in line microphone, so a bit of a waste. The Vibes get really mixed reviews, you either love or hate them (havn't tried so can't offer my opinion) but they do always get commented on for their bass ability, so I doubt you would be disappointed there.
Really depends what your budget is really. Am looking for an upgrade to some CX300 myself, which are great, but would like something better, biggest problem is buying without trying, sound is such a subjective personal taste. Have also had some Beyer DT50, which although sound was pretty good, they were alwful in the gym, as they don't seal properly, and build quality was pretty poor. (£55 down the drain!!)

Have heard pretty good things about the Denon AH-C551 too, can anyone recommend these?

Ultimate Ears are a good choice. The Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 Studio is an excellent headphone, but does not have a strong bass response (something you mentioned as a requirement).

If good bass response is a major factor then the Xtrememac FS1 earphones may be right up your street. These headphones are actually re-branded Future Sonics Atrio headphones and have a very solid bass response for in-ear headphones.

Re: Whats IEM's are best for my new ipod touch?

The C551s from Denon have great great bass response as well. They really do well with very low and over-driven bass notes without invading on the mids and highs. I found IEMs to be a little too uncomfortable and went for the Denons which are canal phones.
