Hello,
I would like to replace the padding strip (not the entire headband) on my Sennheiser HD600's. Has anyone done this? Is it necessary to remove the block/clip at one end of the headband?

I attach a nice pic., with an arrow pointing to the clip in question. Does this lift (or slide out) to enable the replacement of the padding strip?

It seems tight and I'm reluctant to force it in case it's not meant to be dislodged.
