| New Member | Replacement for Pioneer SE-M280 headphones
Hi all I want to replace these Pioneer SE-M280 headphones since one of the plastic hinges broke and is now held on by tape - so now it's not against my head properly thus reducing the atmosphere created. ![]() The problem is, these were given to my Dad for free about 4 years ago, so I have no idea how much they were worth, and what type of "class" they are in sound-quality wise. So I just don't know how much to spend to keep the sound quality the same or even improve it. I was thinking of buying Sennheiser HD555s, but the open design puts me off a little. So is there a recommended headphone that has a closed design and goes OVER my ears like the HD555 (I dislike all other types of headphone) for a similar price? I listen to bassy music so that'll have to be good. Edit : Maybe HD280s? Thanks! Last edited by G.T; 26-04-2008 at 12:45 AM. |
