Goldring GX200 Query

I've just bought a pair of Goldring GX200 earphones as my Sennheiser PX-100s are barely audible when travelling in a car/plane. I'm pretty new to in-ear 'phones but to my ears they sound fairly poor (overly sharp high frequencies and tinny mids) and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong given the glowing reviews these buds have received. I've tried all the included ear buds and found the Comply tips work the best but even they produce a sound that is inferior to the Sennheisers.

Is there a right way to put these into your ears or are they simply not as good as my Sennheisers?

Re: Goldring GX200 Query

Actually, ignore the above. I've just been messing around with the Comply tips and got them to sound very good.

Re: Goldring GX200 Query

Be careful with these. I had a pair for a month or so, before the left bud stopped working. I had been very careful, and kept them in the supplied case most of the time.

Before they broke, however, I found them very acceptable - at least as good as the Senn CX300, and well worth the asking price.
