In ear headphones with a volume slider on the cord

So my in ear headphones fell apart this morning on the tube (some Sennheiser £20 ones) and im in the market for some new ones. One major criteria is that they need to have a volume control on them so i can adjust on the go without having to get my ipod touch out all the time.

Can anyone make a recommendation or two? Budget say up to around £50.

Thanks in advance.

Yes the Sennheiser CX500's which have the volume control that you want, can be had for just under £50.

Be careful of fakes on amazon and ebay, don't go for ones just under £30 from sellers with no rating on amazon, i`m sure they are fakes.

I was going to get some CX500`s but instead went for the Sony NWZA818 which come with premium earphones almost as good as the CX500`s but you get an excellent MP3 player some say the best for just over £80 from amazon.

Re: In ear headphones with a volume slider on the cord

For anyone thats interested, i received my CX500's yesterday from play (£39.99 for the titanium coloured ones).

to be honest, first impressions have been bad. There seems to be no midrange or clear bass ata ll. Rock music just sounds a mes. Ive experimented with all the ear buds that come with it, and whilst the bigger ones sound better when i press them to my ear, they dont stay in place. The smaller ones also dont fit my ears well and sound way too tinny. Maybe i just have the wrong shaped ears?! I copmpared some tracks with the apple standard ones and the apple ones sounded so much better its silly.

Anyway, went home last night and changed some ear buds for some i had on the headphones that came with my sony ericsson phone! They seem to fit better and im getting a bit mre midrange this way i think. Still not convinced though.

Is this maybe a case of breaking them in? Or do you think my ears just arent suited to in-ear headphones?
