Beyerdynamic DTX50

Hi all,

I'm thinking about purchasing a pair, any one like to comment on them?

I'm dumping my Shure e2c's as I can't put up with the fitting, had 'em over a year & just can't get used to them

Cannot comment on them myself but after searching and reading others opinions I guess they are pretty good for the price. If you buy from Jaben Networks you can also get the Crossroads Mylar One's thrown in for about £50 along with an Ipod Line Out dock ! http://www.jaben.net/

Think I may well be purchasing that package when I have some spare dosh

Cheeers

Re: Beyerdynamic DTX50

Had a pair, was initially impressed till I tried to use them. They are useless in the Gym as they don't cut out background noise, due to not being a proper seal, having a very small hole in the centre that appears to pass through, they also didn't stay in particularly well, appeared to be an issue with the overall shape, that when sweaty from a run after 15/20 mins, they would constantly fall out. Then to top it all after 3 weeks one side the sound be came intermittent. On paper these are great value, and if not used in a gym, they would probably be fine, but really can't recommend them.
