Hi,Guys,bought a pair of 650's today,and also an amp,not the one I wanted,but it was in stock...complete newbie to headphone amps ,Anyway,Been trying all day to get the amp working..............

I have a Denon 3850 amp,The headphone amp is a PRO-JECT HEAD BOX 11,Followed the instuctions,connect to the denon's cd/tape inputs and back to the amp,This is where i am getting lost....I have tried to get sound,used the trigger out options on the amp....but ,no joy.....Guess i'm doing something a bit dumarse..............

Any help and advice would be great................

Connect the your cd player or other source to the project amps line in sockets, then use a second set or leads from the line out on the project back into your Denon. That should work but maybe not ideal. If your Denon is an AVR 3805 you may have to assign the inputs through the menu to get things working but I'm not sure.

Thanks,tried various things,got them working,well,sort of.one channel....at least I could compare the output from the denon headphone socket and the amp...ummm,does not seem a great difference......Thinking about getting a slee amp,heard alot of positives about them.......................Happy with the 650's tho...................
