Users of Sennheiser CX300 who went to ultimate Ears 5 Pros help and other headsets

Hi all

Is there any users who used to use the Sennheiser CX300 who upgraded to Ultimate Ears 5 Pros?, Can you tell me if the buds in the ultimate Ears 5 Pros have the same size rubber buds as the largest set of buds in the Sennheiser CX300 pack as these fit me perfectly.

also is there any other headset that is alot better then the Sennheiser CX300 as i want to upgrade and the Ultimate Ears 5 Pros do strech my pockets but i could buy them the only thing that is putting me off is how big thay are is there any thing that is just as good or slighty not as good as the UE 5 Pros but much much better than Sennheiser CX300.

hope somone can help thanks all

Re: Users of Sennheiser CX300 who went to ultimate Ears 5 Pros help and other headset

For the purposes of this post:
Canalphones = cheaper high street "in ear" phones" where the tips sit only at the entrance of your ear canal
IEMs = Inner Ear Monitors

IEMs come with a fit kit... interchangeable tips of various sizes and 'type' so for most people they can find the perfect fit. These tips sit deeper than the tips you get from canal phones. In the majority of cases you will get a proper seal and a better fit. Its not a certainty but I will bet that you will find a tip that fits better than the '3 standardized sized tips' you get with canal phones on your British high street

You could also consider the Shure range and also the Westone UM1 and UM2

I could go on... but see my rather lengthy post here
