Returning In Ear Phones Within 14 Days

Micro Anvica are saying that they will not accept back my Shure SE310s. I am considering whether or not to go for teh 420s or even 530s (there will be a seperate post on this) but can only do so if Micro Anvica take back the 310s. They claim there is a law that prohibits them taking them back once used because of hygeine reasons. Currys took back some Shure headphones from me very recently (110s - I am moving up the Shure tree) so I am not sure such a law exists.

Anybody knows if it does and/or if you have experienced returning stuff to Micro Anvica?

Thanks

No I didn't - I checked agaim with another branch today and they are adamant that they will not take them back should I decide I want to change them.

Re: Returning In Ear Phones Within 14 Days

I did hear something recently that said the exchange thing isn't actually an obligation of the supplier, that is only the case if the product is faulty. I guess the shop would then end up with phones they couldn't resell and the munufacturer wouldn't take back because they aren't faulty.

Can't be certain but I think they are correct.

Re: Returning In Ear Phones Within 14 Days

I have had dealings with those monkeys in the past.

The store in londons tottenham court road must have the "Rudest staff I've EVER encountered..."

They will try anything not to give you a refund even if the item is faulty which happened to be my dilemma with a MP3 Player.

I would never deal with them again as long as I live.

Contact shure UK and tell them your not happy with the earphones and you would like to upgrade to a better model and pay the extra cash.

They might contact micro anvika on your behalf and tell them its ok for you to return your earphones.

Its a longshot I know but its worth a try.
