Question Sony MDR-EX85

I'm probably going to get an iPod classic this weekend, and I'm aware that like most MP3 players the included earphones are garbage, so I'm going to get a decent set of inner-ears (my Creative EP-630s have given up the ghost). At the moment I'm considering the Sennheiser CX300s and the slightly more expensive Sony MDR-EX85s. I read online that the latter can suffer from sound leakage due to their design. Does anyone have these and if so is that true? They will primarily be used on public transport so leakage isn't really an option.
