What are the Best ear bud headphones for all round sound

Interested to hear your views on the best ear bud head phones for all round sound quality, Looking to spend between £20 and £40

Well, for "best" sound, you want to be spending rather more than £20-£40 - the Shure SE530s, for example, are stunning, but they cost over £200...

In the price range you mention, your best bets are probably the Sennheiser CX-300, or the Sony MDR-EX71. If you can afford to stretch your budget a bit, the Shure E2 is available at about £50 online, and is likely to be a step up from those two.

Shure SE210 are good if you can stretch for them.

I would agree with that statement. Earbuds in the £100-200 mark have much more to offer than the budget offerings under £50. They are the only pair of ears you will ever have, look after them by using good quality kit that offers good quality sound.
