Greets,
Long time lurker here so I thought I'd join

Ok, so I've had no real definitive answer on a couple of things while reading around.
Firstly, I own a pair Sennheiser HD-25 II's (

along with an Onkyo PC-200PCI sound card. (

I'm looking for a headphone amplifier that is best matched to give uncoloured distortion free music re-production from the sound card to my headphones. Basically, I want the sound untouched as possible, just amplified

. Budget is around £200 but am willing to spend the extra if need be.
Also, I've read about plenty of people upgrading the cable on their Sennheiser HD650's etc. The HD-25's use the same plugs and cable apart from the fact my headphones are wired only on one side and one channel is fed over the headband. Where can I get the bits to make my own and what other cables should I use for the rest of my little setup as in phono cables, shielded?
On a side note, I'd like to say how brilliant the HD-25's are, in my opinion nothing beats them and I've listened to a few sets of "high end" headphones including the HD600/650, and a pair of Grado SR125. Granted all of the ones I've just mentioned are open back and are small pickings. It's just something about HD-25's that gives the feeling as if the sounds are alive and you can feel it in your heart and feet. Anybody agree?
Any advice/criticism welcome, thanks for your time.
