will dab work with headphone amp.

i have recently brought a pocket dab radio it sounds great but it is not loud enough for me and i am considerling a portable headphone amp.does any one know if it will work as the aerial is the headphone cable and it will have to go into the amp and out through a cable at the other end to the radio.thanks

would i be better of posting this in the dab section. i nearly purchased a headphone amp to day online but i have held of because i am not sure if the dab signal picked up on the earphone cable will carry on through the amp and on to the player.i really like the radio and whith my goldring gx200 earphones it sounds great but at max volume its ok but there is no option left to turn it up a bit if a favorite song or tune comes on.
