Sony MDR-NC11 Headphones opinions?

Hi guys,

Anyone got these above headphones or tried them?

Currently contemplating getting some but what is the performance like especially bass wise? I need lots of bass!

There is an offer on with the Sony NEW-A818 with these headphones and I was wondering if they'd better my old headphones, the Sony EX-85's which I was never that impressed with bass wise or comfort.

Ok fair enough, I'm not sure if its worth splashing out on Shure headphones as my music genre (Metal/Rock) won't really benefit from such headphones. I just want some crisp sounding, bassy headphones (if there is such a thing!)
