recommend new headphones

hi guys

i have a pair of sony MDR700DJ. they are the most uncomfortable phones after about a half hours wear.

can you please recommend a new pair of closed headphones.
they will mostly be used for Gaming. PS3.
budget around £110 approx.

I have always used Sennheiser headphones and never get a problem.

I haven't brought a pair now for 2 years so a little rusty, all I can suggest is pop into a Hi-Fi shop get a demo.
What Hi-Fi recommend.

How about the Beyerdynamic DT770/80 or the Audio-Technica ATH-A900 - Both of which are closed although I've yet to listen to a Beyer.

For £99 i would definitelly look at Bose TriPort Around Ear headphones or the QC2s. Superb for gaming and pretty much anything you can put into them. The Triports Generate very little noise outside of the cups.
