These are now available from Technikdirekt.de for approx £140 delivered. Seems like a great price to me.

I have been looking for a decent set of surround sound headphones for my home cinema and xbox 360 so it was important that the headphones could accept a digital imput. I was going to get the Sony MDR-DS3000 for around £140 (as the Se-DIR800c and the HD1500 were beyond my budget) so immensely pleased I found these....

Just thought I'd let others know these have been reduced in price.

ps - do not get the HD1500 confused with HD1505 headphones (like I almost did) - HD1505 are just the headphones without the transmitter and can be got for about £115
