First, thanks for all the suggestions! Tell you guys, I have finally got myself a new pair of earphones, or should I say, headphones. Although I am quite satisfied with the 'eventual' headphones that I have got, finally, I must say it was a really bad experience from Ebay.
At the very first instant, right after I started this thread here, I saw an Audio Technica ATH-EW9, the woody clip-on, on ebay (local UK seller). The price was very reasonable, but I expected it to go up when the bidding ended. In deed, I won by paying 60quids (item no 200139489266). I happily received the package the day after I paid, then open the box and found out that the headphone in the EW9 box is in fact EM9R, the silver one. I first thought that the wooden covers on the headphone were somewhere in the box as well, maybe an optional thing, but could not find any of it. I mail back the seller and ask him about this, he said it was an unopened price that he won from headphoneworld.com, I really doubt that. We agreed to send the headphone back to him. But once he got it, he was complaining about he was send the correct wooden one to me and it was me who change it to the EM9d and wrongly request a refund. That sucks! He also sent me a blurry photo of the 'original package' to me and said that was the 'genuine article' that he sent me earlier. What a big lie! After discussing with my friend who is a lawyer, he said it would be difficult to prove my case, and otherwise as well. I eventually asked the seller to send the silver EW9d to me and I did received it. That is jut to minimise my lost, otherwise I would have to wait for months to file a dispute case with Ebay and Paypal and may even lost in the end.
Although I am still happy with the EM9d, I am still quite unpset about the way people cheat on Ebay. in the UK, EM9d sells pretty much the same price as the EW9, why the hack did this guy be more honest!? Oh, by the way, his name is Ian Aldred, anybody knows him? If it really wasn't his fault, then what happened in between!?
