Also, what size tips does the Triple.Fi take? Have you ever seen Shure tips before and does the barrel look to be roughly the same size?

I'm free anytime - even during the day. The benefits of taking some time off from work!

I have Shure E4cs (are they the same size barrel as the E500s?) Unfortunately UE seem to have a non-standard barrel that is two sized (the end is thicker, I guess to stop tips coming loose). Don't worry, I can bleach the UE tips thoroughly before you use them unless you can get your hands on some new ones (Having said that I haven't used the foam ones that came with - You are welcome to try those)
