It seems that alot of threads relate to "what earphones for my ipod". Similarly alot of the answers given are extremly similar. I'm wondering if it is worth creating a sort of FAQ/standard advice thread for this issue.

The sections I was thinking of would be -

Earphone reccomendations

In-ear

Below £20

Sennheiser CX300 (£15)
etc..

Shure E2C

Etc..


None in-ear portable cans

Yep, definitely agree, although I do find FAQs and Stickys tend to be ignored anyway.
But if this idea is followed up, I'd be happy to contribute towards it in any way I could.

Portable headphones?

Senn MX500, PX100, CX300, Sony EX71, Panasonic HJE50, Westone UM2, Shure E2, E4, UE 5.Pro's is what I've got (2 since sold)

I think the first thing in any sticky is
"you only have one pair of ears. Limit yourself to a cheap pair, killer pair and back up pair! Call it quits at 3" I suppose I could help with a little on the writing side
