My Shure E500s finally arrived....

....from the States and they're great!

I was a Shure E4C user and have been dithering over the 500s fro a while.

They take a few mins to warm up and then the biggest differences are clarity and bass.

Singers "hang" in air and lyrcs are cleaned up beautifully.

Bass is totally clean and "fruity" with no overhang or bloom.

This is using either Apple lossless (from CD) or 384kbps MP4 downloads and straight into the Gen5 iPod slot

I have the E4c's too and will be upgrading to the new Shure SE 420 or 520 series (need to read some more reviews first though!) later this year.

What price do used E4's sell at?

Thanks - Im not sure mine would sell for that much, they're about 1yr old (1 yr remaining on warranty) and the fit kit would be partially used. Everything else un-used.
