sennheiser (cheap)

having never bought headphones before, am considering Sennheiser models HD212pro, HD205 and eH250. I cannot find anywhere that compares these or much in the way of reviews.
They are for use partly indoors (cinema room) but also air travel, closed design prob best to avoid annoying fellow passengers!
Anyone got an opinion or alternatives at a similar price

Re: sennheiser (cheap)

well i've got a pair of 212's in my sennhesier graveyard.
i use them for my ipod sometimes. the bass can be bloated, but compared to other closed headphones at the time, the quality is there as well. and good choice.

haven't had time to fullly look for a price deal but check this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-HD-212-HD212-Headphones/dp/B0000YVGWM/ref=sr_1_2/203-4115647-2865517?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

that'll give you something to think about. like i said for the type of headphone, and price, i've yet to hear better. but be careful of that bass!

For around £30 you could get a pair of Creative HN700 Noise cancelling Headphones. These may be ideal for your air travel. The quality of sound is apparently not the best but the noise cancelling is suppposed to be pretty good. Trustedreviews had a review on them.

Other alternatives are Creative Labs HQ-1300 or 1700.

Depends really on your budget. You could get some Senns PCX250 for £50 + shipping.
