I was after some new cans after I broke my AKG 240s and happened to read the thread on headphones for under £100. Well yesterday I got my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro phones delivered (for £86.99) and stuck on a decent techno CD to see if I could hear the bass properly.

WOW!

Thanks for pointing me towards these, the clarity of the whole frequency spectrum is excellent.
