Re: etymotic

Depends on how much you want to spend, personally I would go for the 6i but if I had to I wouldn't want to spend more than £40ish for them.

Re: etymotic

How goes it onefunkypenguin?...headphones i recently got a set of skullcrusher in ears i think for about £20, sound quality is good, very light weight and come with a case....but i am about to purchase a set of iGrado's, which will pretty much blow away most cans of the same kind....at the end of the day its down to personal choice, the skullcrushers for the money are very good, much better than the standard one supplied with any iPod etc...and for around £40 the grados are awesome.

I've used them too (not for Er6i's though), was on recommendation from other people at head-fi.

The Ety6i are not £150 retail, perhaps $150 so not such a bargain, a quick google showed up a few UK prices at around £75.

£38 plus delivery £13 and the odd chance that you could get customs & duty added if coming from the US might affect your buying decision.

Looks like a great deal. I paid alot more than that for a pair of ety 4s a couple of years ago.
The main issue though is to whether you can tolerate tight in the ear canal phones like these as you may find them too uncomfortable to wear for long periods. So I have gone back to Seihneisser P100s.

Re: etymotic

This make seem to be competing well with the Shures of this world. Im getting the ER4P (retails at £200) for £85 as I got family in the US and they're over in the summertime.

Look at the Shure e2c and e3c at amazon.co.uk at the moment
