Exclamation Sony MDR-XD100 - Diabolical!

link

I finally had these delivered from PLAY.com today and i have to say that they are the most horrific headphones i have ever used. The sound is unbeliveably tinny and there is no bass on them whatsoever. They're also insanely flimsy and incredibly uncomfortable.

I know they were only £12.99 but they had the same spec's as the MDR-CD480

Ive filled in a returns form and ill be sending them back later.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Also, can anyone recommend some headphones that have a great overall quality but a "more-than-usual" amount of bass?

Cheers, fu510n

Has your budget changed from £30 as there are one or two recommendations (like the Senn HD 515) in one of your other threads.

Well, ive decided to get a decent pair for my Dad (he wants Sony) and an OK pair for me (i dont mind the brand, as long as they have good Bass and are comfy). Im looking to spend a total of £50 on both
