CX300 Questions

I've just got a pair of the Sennheiser CX300s which are my first pair of in-ear headphones and I'm having problmes getting a good fit. When I put them in I don't get the bass everyone has been talking about so I assume they're not in the ear properly. Just how far are you supposed to push them into the ear. Any owners have any tips please.

Re: CX300 Questions

It sounds disgusting, but try a bit of saliva around the rubber pads before placing in your ear .. then push in until you feel the suction, grip and bass .. lots and lots of bass !!!!

No, these were the genuine article from mymemory.co.uk. I've now sent them back for a refund as I just don't think I can get on with these sort of ear-canal headphones. Now looking for an alternative, I do have a pair of PX100s which I use indoors but would prefer something more discrete for out and about, I wonder if the MX50 is any good or maybe another manufacturer altogether.
