Got 4gig nano one of first ones so has the old earphones and there absolutely useless gon through several pairs because sound becomes so distorted.
Are these any good

I do frequently use the ipod so needs to be hardwearing but not too costly as dont have money for £100 ones being 15 thanks in advance Jack.

Get the sennheiser cx300, they will be very good for your needs, can be picked up for around £20 on ebay.

Another vote for them. MyMemory.co.uk had them for £17.99 last time I checked, and Amazon has them for about £20 too (if you want to avoid ebay.)
